What is Free Kinder and how does it benefit your family?
Giving your child the best start in life begins with high-quality early learning. The Victorian Government’s Free Kinder initiative supports families by providing funded kindergarten hours for eligible children. Here’s what you need to know about Free Kinder at Lili’s Early Learning Centre Hoppers Crossing:
What is Free Kinder?
Free Kinder provides up to 15 hours per week of funded kindergarten for 3 and 4-year-olds enrolled in an approved program. This helps reduce the cost of early education, ensuring more children can access quality learning experiences before starting school.
Who is eligible for Free Kinder?
Your child is eligible for Free Kinder if they:
Are turning three or four by 30 April in the year of attendance
Are enrolled in a government-approved kindergarten program
Our team can help you understand your eligibility and how Free Kinder applies to your family’s enrolment at Lili’s Early Learning Centre.
How does Free Kinder benefit your child?
Free Kinder programs support your child to:
Build confidence and social skills through play-based learning
Develop early literacy and numeracy foundations
Strengthen communication and language skills
Enhance problem-solving and independence
Prepare for a smooth transition to primary school
