Inclusion Support
Supporting every child at Lili’s Early Learning Centre Hoppers Crossing
At Lili’s Early Learning Centre Hoppers Crossing, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued and included. We welcome families from Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit, Truganina, Werribee and Wyndham Vale, and are committed to providing an inclusive learning environment where all children can grow, learn and thrive.
Our approach to inclusion
Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We celebrate each child’s unique strengths, abilities, culture and background. Our educators are trained to recognise and support the individual needs of every child, creating learning experiences that promote confidence, belonging and participation.
Supporting additional needs
We work closely with families, specialists and inclusion support agencies to ensure children with additional needs receive the care and learning opportunities they deserve. Our inclusive practices include:
Collaborating with families to understand each child’s needs
Adapting programs and environments to support participation
Working with therapists and external agencies when required
Providing individualised learning goals where needed
Promoting positive peer relationships and social skills
Cultural inclusion and belonging
We value and respect the diverse cultural backgrounds of our families and community. Our programs include learning experiences that build awareness, empathy and respect for different cultures, languages and traditions. We also embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in our daily learning to foster understanding and appreciation of Australia’s First Nations peoples.
Creating an inclusive community for all
Our goal is to create a centre community where every child and family feels welcome and included. We encourage open communication with families about their child’s needs, interests, culture and learning journey to ensure we provide the best possible care and education every day.
