Our Early Learning Curriculum

A play-based curriculum that supports every child’s growth

As a family-owned and operated centre, we understand the importance of early childhood development and the role it plays in shaping a child's future. Our dedicated team of qualified educators delivers tailored programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Victorian Kindergarten guidelines, ensuring each child receives the best start in life.

Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Our educators use the principles and practices of the Early Years Learning Framework to guide all programming decisions. This ensures that every experience—whether structured or spontaneous—supports your child’s development across social, emotional, cognitive, language and motor skills. By catering to each child’s interests and learning style, our curriculum nurtures individual strengths while preparing children for school and beyond.

Learning through play in every room

From the Nursery to Kindergarten, every program at Lili’s Early Learning Centre includes hands-on, open-ended experiences that help children explore, question and discover. Each of our rooms is thoughtfully designed with age-appropriate toys, resources and play spaces that build key skills while sparking imagination.

  • In the Nursery Room, babies are encouraged to explore through sensory activities and gentle routines.

  • Our Toddler Program introduces creative and social play that fosters confidence and language development.

  • The Pre-Kinder Program supports early literacy, numeracy and collaboration through free play and guided group activities.

  • The Kindergarten Program builds school readiness with opportunities for problem-solving, creativity, and deeper learning.

Empowering children through meaningful learning

Our curriculum is designed to empower children as active learners. Whether they’re solving a puzzle, painting, building or collaborating with peers, we encourage children to try new things, express their ideas and take pride in their achievements. These everyday wins build resilience, independence and a lasting love of learning.

Music and movement every day

Music and movement are embedded in our daily routine across all age groups. Through songs, instruments, dancing and rhythm games, children develop motor coordination, listening skills and group participation. These experiences also support brain development and self-expression in a joyful, inclusive way.

Collaboration with families and community

We view families as essential partners in each child’s learning journey. Our educators work closely with parents to plan experiences that reflect children’s interests at home and in care. Program documentation and learning portfolios are regularly updated and shared, helping create a consistent, supportive environment for each child’s development.
